The “Warriors On the Water” fishing tournament will be a day to say “Thank You” to our men and women in uniform. Many of our servicemen and women have served in Iraq and Afghanistan in the Global War on Terrorism. This day of recognition will be a small way to say “Welcome Home” and “Job Well Done” to our military hero’s. Our Servicemen and Women will be paired with experienced bass anglers for an exciting day of trying to catch lunker bass from Jordan Lake located just south of Raleigh, NC. Local businesses have eagerly stepped forward to provide trophies for the winners plus prizes and food to make for an unforgettable day!

ANGLERS (IN TOURNAMENT APPAREL) AND MILITARY PERSONNEL WILL MEET FOR THE TOURNAMENT MEETING AT SPORTS USA ON FT. BRAGG* ANGLERS SHOULD NOT BRING THEIR BOATS TO THE ICE BREAKER

MILITARY PERSONNEL AND ANGLERS WILL BE PAIRED INTO TEAMS AND BE GIVEN THE RULES OF THE TOURNAMENT.

NC WILDLIFE RESOURCES HAS GIVEN A WAIVER FOR ALL SOLDIERS SO THEY DO NOT HAVE TO  PURCHASE A ONE DAY FISHING LICENSES FOR  THE TOURNAMENT. THERE IS NO FEE FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TOURNAMENT.
